The Idaho 4X4 State Association is about:
- Promoting goodwill and education to the public about the 4×4 community.
- Promoting goodwill through social events with clubs state-wide.
- Being involved and partnered in the decision making process with our local, state and federal land managers.
- Promoting individuals and clubs to get involved in their local communities in service projects, etc.
- Promoting all clubs to be organized and staffed properly so that they can be viable force for good in their individual communities.
Have you ever lost your favorite 4×4 trail to a closed gate?
Now is the time to join your local 4×4 club and get involved.
The Idaho State 4X4 Association is made up of 4X4 clubs across the state of Idaho. These clubs have stopped complaining about trails being closed and have decided to do something about it.
What does the Idaho 4×4 State Association do?
In conjunction with local clubs, member’s are able to take part in many service oriented opportunities. Many trail cleanups, adopt-a-highway cleanups and trail maintenance events take place annually around the state. In addition, each club has adopted at least one off-road trail to maintain for everyone to use.
The funds donated and raised for the organization fund land use initiatives, legal encounters and to promote our sport.
Trail rides are put on by member clubs throughout the year with one major trial ride occurring annually. This event is organized by member clubs on rotating years. The rides are a time to build camaraderie, promote the sport and to discuss major issues facing the sport.
As a member how can I help?

Members are called upon to write letters, make pone calls or spread the word about land use issues across Idaho and the United States.
Take part in our grass roots effort to maintain trails, educate others, or just come along and have fun on our many events throughout the year!
